Day 5 – Gettin’ dirty for Jesus

Hey everybody, It’s Tyler!

So today we did a lot of digging, played with kids, and worshipped Jesus in Spanish. I spent most of my day digging in a hole for a septic tank that will eventually  be about 18′ deep. We’re covered in dirt, but happy to serve.

I also got to get swallowed by a whale as puppet Jonah during the kids ministry time. Caleb taught a lesson on Jonah and the Big Fish and the kids loved it. Caleb had forgotten the blanket for the puppet show, so we had to use umbrellas, but the show was just as good. It showed that teamwork and creative thinking makes the dream work.

Our dinner was filled with a little bit of home with pizza and Pepsi. Everyone was super excited!

We also attended church in the evening where Josh taught a lesson about Gods love as a Father to the fatherless. There was a family there who just recently lost their father and they are interested in talking to Pastor Rafael about their salvation. Please pray that they choose to follow God. We had a great opportunity to worship in Spanish. Overall another great day here in Honduras serving our Lord.

-Pray for Pastor Raphael’s back and colon.

-Pray for the Pastors son Isaac who has a serious ear condition and hearing loss recently.

-Pray for us to have supernatural strength to finish this house on time!

Also, if you are on Instagram you gotta go follow us @ lp.students. We put pictures and videos on there that you won’t find here. 🙂

Talk later :),
